D.C

the other day i got back from Washinton D.C. it was really cool! it was rainning a lot so we had to cansle all but one singing thing. But even if it was pretty bad that that happened, some good things happened too. we were at the Kennedy Centre on a tour and we saw Sally Albreque.( a choreographer of some of our songs we sing in honor choir.) it was pretty exciting what she did with us. she took us onto the stage and she tought us her acuall choreography. she tought us the hand motions that she made to go with them. it was really cool. i thought that i was really luck to get to see her! aspeacally to getto work with her and get to know her personallaty. me and my two other friends got our picture taken with her and i got her autograph. we also got to go to a consert and hear a lot of different choirs sing. most of them were pretty good. at the concert we got to listen to the army choir. they were really good. sometimes they just made you want to cry and sometimes they just made you want to laugh. but other times, they made you want to cry and laugh at the same time. you want to laugh and cry and cry and laugh and they never want you to stop crying and laughing. and i never wanted them to stop siging and making me cry and laugh. they were so good. But it was really late when we got back to the hotel room. i had to go straight to bed!
also we got to go to the masoneams. they were so cool! when we went to the musem of Naitional History, we saw the ruby slippers that were played in the origanl movie of THE WIZERD OF Oz. we also saw the real Kermet The Frog from the show, THE MUPIT SHOW. But i have to say that my favorite part of the musems was that we got to see the first ladies dresses. they were so elegent and some were puffy. but yet some were very beautiful. most of the ladies were tiny little things. i mean i could even fit in some of them and mabey some of you might be too big to fit in them. they were really small!
we got to sing once other than at the Kennedy Centre. we sang at the Linchlon Memoreal. we were standing in the freezing cold and rain and we had to sing. but when i tried to sing a really high pitched note, i would go out of tune because of the humedety in the air. i wanted to get to the bus and snuggle with mom. but i knew i had to get throough this time. so finally it was over and i ran straight to mom and hugged her. and i said in a small chattery voice, " mmmom, iii'mm cccolldd!!!" and she just stood there laughing and said back," mmme tttoo!!!" so you can tell that it was cold there but we had a lot of fun! we also had a tour of the white house. i was saying in my head, OH YEAH, WELL SOME DAY I'LL BE UP THERE TOO BUT THEN, I'LL BE THE MOST FAMOUSE FOR BEING THE FIRST LADIE PRESIDENT. THEN THEY WILL HAVE TO COME UP WITH FIRST MEN. yeah, kind of wierd eh? i think so too! well have you ever been to D.C before? if you haven't, THEN GOOOOOO!!!!!!!! well, i better go now, i'm going to miss dinner! ggggoodd bbbyyee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DC was fun. I especially enjoyed being there with YOU! It was so much fun seeing you see DC for the first time. I cried when you sang for Sally Albrecht. I agree about the Army choir! Do you remember when they sang Beautiful Dreamer? I could have floated away! Thanks for letting me come with you. Thanks for not being too embarrassed that I was your mom. Thanks for being such a great blogger and an even better kid! Love you!
